I’m also finding low mile 2015 engines from lkq for sub $700 and wondering if a newer engine is just sensors and ancillaries away from going into the 2011. It looked as if the rear cargo capabilities were also the same. The outback is longer, wider, and has a longer wheelbase, but the forester has more headroom and leg room. All i presently know is 2.5 na automatic. I just finished studying the specs on the subaru website, and i dont get it. Some stuff says 09-13, some says 11/12, some goes newer.
